About the event
Pavlo (Pavlo Simtikidis) has made a name for himself through his brand of Mediterranean music—a blend of Greek, flamenco, Latin, and Balkan styles, wrapped in contemporary pop. Over the span of his 20-year career, Pavlo has shared stages with José Feliciano, Jon Secada, Olivia Newton-John, and the Tenors, and has performed for Prince Charles.
Born in Toronto to Greek parents, Pavlo has released 11 albums of original music and two collaborative projects, including Guitarradas (2015) with Remigio Pereira and Trifecta (2009) with fellow guitar masters Rik Emmett and Oscar Lopez. This show will feature music from his second PBS special, Live in Kastoria, and other selections from his extensive catalog. At the end of the show, he will give his guitar away to one lucky audience member.
Note: $100 ticket includes a post-show meet and greet with Pavlo.
